Kilulu is a language app for children, set up and managed by a parent or guardian. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell or share it for advertising, and there are no ads, analytics or trackers in the app or on this site.

What we keep, and why

What never leaves your device

Children

Children use Kilulu inside profiles a parent creates. Children can't create accounts, buy anything, follow links out of the app or change settings: those are behind a grown-up check. We don't knowingly collect anything from children beyond the profile and progress described above.

Who handles it for us

The voice that reads Kilulu's instructions is recorded ahead of time. Nothing about your family is sent to make it.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your family's data while your account exists. In the app, Settings → Delete all data permanently deletes your account, profiles, progress and family recordings from our servers and from the device. Signing out removes them from that device only. You can also export a copy from Settings, or email hello@kiluluapp.com to have anything corrected or deleted, or to leave the waitlist.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and its date, and tell you in the app before anything new is collected.
